"Jazz Jackrabbit 2" is a 2D side-scrolling platform game developed by the legendary studio known as Epic Games. Before "Gears of War" and "Unreal," Epic was known for games such as "Jazz Jackrabbit 2." Even though this is a sequel to "Jazz Jackrabbit," you don't need to play the first one to enjoy the action. The gameplay is similar to the first title, as players will guide Jazz through over 20 levels of non-stop fun. Jazz can use his firearms to blast any enemy in his path and use his jumping ability to avoid danger. Unlike the first game, players aren't just limited to playing as Jazz. Each playable character has a unique array of moves that will change how you tackle a level. For example, Spaz can double jump, letting him reach areas that Jazz cannot.

An array of power-ups is available on every level in "Jazz Jackrabbit 2," each one giving you an edge against the hordes of Devan Shell. The most common of these power-ups is different ammo types. You'll find ammunition that turns your gun into a flamethrower and ammunition that will freeze enemies right in their tracks. However, you only have a small amount of special ammo, so use it wisely. You can also find items that boost your character's health, award you with an extra life and make your character invincible. "Jazz Jackrabbit 2" also adds multiplayer to the mix, letting you and a friend work together to complete the levels or fight against each other. "Jazz Jackrabbit 2" offers five different multiplayer modes that support up to four players on one computer and 32 players online.
